Lori Lawson is a distinguished educator and industry leader serving as a Director for the Mississippi Cosmetology and Barbering Association (MCBA). Based in Ripley, MS, Lori has held positions as lead instructor at Delta Technical College, Horn Lake, MS and owner of Heat 5422 Salon, Dumas, MS where, Lori successfully operated a full-service salon. She currently serves as the Lead Cosmetology Instructor at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, a role she began in early 2022. With over a decade of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and instructor, she has dedicated her career to elevating professional standards across the state. Her leadership extends to the Mississippi Community College Board, where she has been a key member of the barber curriculum rewriting team since 2023.
